Lord Davidh Salem has approximately 15 years' entrepreneurial experience establishing and developing organisations and projects. He studied Law in the UK and completed an MSc in Strategic Business Management. His experience and interests include fintech, money and payment applications, and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs).

His stated motivation is to apply entrepreneurship, law, strategy and financial-technology experience to a long-term humanitarian contribution.
